Portals is an edition of pinback buttons.
Each button is hand-punched from a 4 × 6 photograph. Five buttons are packaged in a plastic baggie and sewn shut with a reclaimed cardstock label.
The edition was created especially for Exiles From the Future Vol.2, a fundraiser bringing together creatives for a common cause: raising awareness about labour issues in the arts. The exhibition is held quasi-annually at Pumice Raft in Toronto, Canada.
